France: Annual seminar on the European Centre for Modern Languages of the Council of Europe on European language policies and national priorities

On 4 February 2014, the General Delegation for the French Language and the Languages of France (DGLFLF), the Directorate of European and International Relations and Cooperation (DREIC - Ministries of Education and Higher Education and Research) and the International Centre for Pedagogical Studies (CIEP), in partnership with the Directorate of cultural and academic co-operation and research (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), will organise the annual seminar at CIEP (Sèvres, France) on the European Centre for Modern Languages of the Council of Europe on the theme of European language policies and national priorities.

Targeted audience: Maximum 80 people: teachers, inspectors, general inspectors, DAREIC, students in language teaching, associations specialised in language policies, CNDP and CRDP (*) managers.

(*) CNDP = Centre National de Documentation Pédagogique / National Centre of Pedagogic Documentation
CRDP = Centre Régional de Documentation Pédagogique / Regional Centre of Pedagogic Documentation
DAREIC = Délégués Académiques aux Relations Européennes et Internationales (Dareic) / Academic Delegates for European and International Relations
