The two-day web conference for language teaching professionals on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages enabled participants to share ideas on how the CEFR can be used effectively in all classrooms across all continents, to discuss how to use the CEFR to design courses and tests and how to use it to promote the teaching and learning of languages, not least to answer the fundamental question: What does it mean to learn a language?

More than 600 people from more than 50 countries registered for this event.
