The ECML exhibition, organised at the initiative of the Austrian Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly, provided an overview of projects in the Centre’s current programme “Learning through languages” as well as showcasing the results of previous programmes and initiatives.
The exhibition was opened by Gisela Wurm, Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly, and Sarah Breslin, Executive Director of the ECML, in the presence of the Austrian Federal president Heinz Fischer, the Secretary General, Thørbjorn Jagland and the President of the Parliamentary Assembly, Anne Brasseur. The exhibition is one of a series of events taking place within the framework of Austria’s chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe (November 2013 – May 2014).
