The latest newsletter edited by the European Forum of Sign Language Interpreters dedicates an article to the Signed Languages for Professional Purposes project of the ECML.

Publications of the project will be available by the end of 2015 at //www.ecml.at/pro-sign. The following outputs will be published in the project’s two working languages (International Sign and English) : 

  • Descriptors across CEFR levels A1-C2, adapted for sign languages;
  • Approaches to signed language assessment, with examples linked to the CEFR;
  • A bilingual glossary on key terms related to CEFR and signed language teaching, learning and assessment.
