Are you interested in addressing key challenges in language education working within a unique European platform? The European Centre for Modern Languages of the Council of Europe has launched the Call for project proposals for its next programme 2024-2027 "Language education at the heart of democracy", based on identified priorities in language education of the Centre’s member states.
The dedicated web pages provide information about
- the rationale and background of the Call;
- potential themes for proposals;
- expected project outputs, project teams and activities, ECML support, the selection procedure and calendar;
- how to apply;
- how to promote the Call.
As a follow-up to the event to launch the Call on 15 May (see below), a webinar is scheduled on 12 June from 15:00 to 17:00 CET for potential proposal writers new to the ECML. The event will address such topics as: how ECML projects are organised; what kind of project outputs are envisaged; what makes a successful project proposal; where to find relevant Council of Europe resources and how to build on these; how to find team members.
