Cedefop has just launched a new language tool which helps navigating education and training terms in 11 languages (Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, and Swedish).
The new Multilingual Synopsis of the European Training Thesaurus is an electronic publication relevant to anyone working in the field of education, training and employment.
It includes 1207 terms in 11 languages and concepts which appear frequently in literature related to European vocational education and training. The synopsis allows for a quick navigation by language, term and topic and forms the basis of the full-fledged online thesaurus Cedefop is currently preparing.
The European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop), an agency of the European Union based in Thessaloniki, Greece, supports European policy-making in the field of vocational education and training.
