From 6th to 7th July 2012 the University of Graz, the University of Wien and the Austrian Association of the ECML will be holding a conference at the ECML entitled “Das Europäische Portfolio für Sprachlehrende in Ausbildung: Erfahrungen und Perspektiven / The European Portfolio for Student Teachers of Languages: Experiences and Perspectives”.

The aim of the conference is to bring together users and potential users of the EPOSTL (*) (language teacher educators, school mentors, representatives of school authorities and ministries, student teachers) to discuss its implementation in teacher education, exchange experiences and strengthen networks.

The conference will point out innovation trends in teacher education in Europe, in particular in the Czech Republic and in Switzerland. Furthermore the ECML will present its new medium-term programme of the ECML “Learning through languages” (2012-2015).
