Jerome Béliard presented the ECML training and consultancy offer “Language of schooling in subject learning” on Monday and Tuesday, 26-27 September 2022, at the Final Project Conference “Languages Matter” at the Faculty of Education in Ljubljana and via Zoom.

More than 100 teachers, teacher trainers and international experts worked during those two days to determine which factors assist and which hinder the creation of a supportive learning environment for the development of plurilingualism in the Slovenian school context.

Slovenia has now had  experience of the three 2016-2019 ECML projects dealing with the language of schooling : Learning environments where modern languages flourish (EOL), A roadmap for schools to support the language(s) of schooling, Developing language awareness in subject classes.
