“Quality education and language competences for 21st century society: traditions, challenges and visions”
Under its Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers, Austria is holding a High Level Conference on Quality Education on 20-21 March 2014, in cooperation with the European Centre for Modern Languages of the Council of Europe, in Graz, Austria.
The conference “Quality education and language competences for 21st century society: traditions, challenges and visions” will examine the definition of quality education in contemporary mobile and diverse societies with a particular focus on the role of language education, thus highlighting the work of the European Centre for Modern Languages (see draft programme below).

About the venue
Number of participants:
A maximum of 200 participants can attend the conference. There is no limit of participants per country. Places will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Conference costs:
No conference registration fee.
Travel and subsistence costs will be covered by each participant.
