QuiZinière, a quiz and questionnaire creator

Quiz/exercise makers

Description: QuiZinière is a web-based platform for creating and conducting quizzes and questionnaires in French. Teachers can design custom quizzes or use pre-made quizzes covering various subjects and levels of difficulty. There are different modes such as multiple-choice, open-ended or image-choice questions. Students can then take these quizzes online by entering a code, and teachers can track their progress and performance. QuiZinière is completely free but requires signing up to create quizzes. It was developed by Réseau Canopé, a French governmental institution.

Evaluation: QuiZinière is a handy resource for designing interactive and dynamic classroom activities. It allows substantial customisation, making it suitable for virtually any purpose. It is easy to use and can help teachers quickly assess students’ understanding of a topic. The only drawback found is that it is only available in French.

Cost: Free.
