StoryJumper, a storybook creator

Story creators

Description: StoryJumper is a digital platform for creating and sharing storybooks. On StoryJumper, users can employ a wide range of tools and templates to design their stories, including adding text, illustrations, voice recordings, and backgrounds. Once created, these stories get saved automatically, and can then be published and shared online or printed as physical books. In teacher mode, educators can create templates for students to use. StoryJumper allows for collaborative working, meaning that different users can work on the same book. It is completely free but it requires having an account.

Evaluation: StoryJumper is an interactive, creative and fun tool to encourage students to practice their writing and storytelling skills through creating storybooks. Also, it is a useful tool for project work or to support collaboration between students. However, creating a storybook requires quite some time, although students may find the creation process engaging and motivating.

Cost: Free with registration.
