Description: Flippity is an online tool for creating interactive activities, games, and quizzes using Google Sheets. Teachers input data into a Google Sheets template provided by Flippity, and the tool generates various educational games and activities based on that data, such as flashcards, quizzes, bingo, and more. Templates are provided so that users only have to access the website and choose the spreadsheet they prefer. Each spreadsheet comes with a set of instructions that explains how to turn a document into pedagogically useful material and customise it. Users also have the option to create materials directly on a browser without using a Google account, but the functionalities are then more limited. Flippity is completely free to use and does not require signing up or having an account. Flippity was developed by Steve Fortna, a software developer.

Flippity’s privacy policy is very simple: no personal data is abused, misused, shared or sold since it does not have access to any other data other than that publicly published on Google Drive. No data ever gets uploaded, downloaded, saved or stored on Flippity services and, as a consequence, deleting a spreadsheet upon which Flippity is operating means deleting all data Flippity can access.
