bubbl.us, a tool for creating mind maps

Mind mapping

Description: Bubbl.us is a web-based tool for creating, saving, and sharingng mind maps. Users can collaborate with others in real-time, customise their mind maps, and export them. Bubbl.us offers a limited free version, allowing users to create up to three mind maps. It requires setting up an account, but no installation is required.

Evaluation: Bubbl.us can be a useful and valuable tool since it offers visual support for language learning and teaching. For example, learners can place relevant vocabulary on a mind map and highlight relationships between concepts in an intuitive manner. This can foster creativity and critical thinking, as well as brainstorming when working in groups. Teachers can employ Bubbl.us to visually represent complex topics and facilitate discussions.
